This molecule is the most stable of the vitamin B5.
The name derives from “Panthos”, found everywhere, meaning in almost all foods.
However, the richest foods of B5 are, egg’s yolk, liver, legumes, brewer's yeast and mushrooms.
In virtue of its strong hydrating, riepilizing, emollient and soothing actions, it is the ingredient of choice in many skin care products made for dry or irritated skin or to alleviate erythema and dermatitis caused by prolonged exposure to UV rays.
